Wallpapers Galore!

I am pleased to announce the grand opening of a wallpaper gallery from the Chocolate & Zucchini picture collection! Browse around the aisles, choose your favorite pic, decorate your desktop, and make you coworkers drool with envy!
If there is any picture you like that I haven't included yet, please let me know and I will add its high-res version to the gallery!
You will also notice that I have added a Paypal donation button to the right of this page : if you enjoy this site and would like to support it, your contribution is greatly appreciated!
On another note, I now understand why they tell you to label the stuff you throw in the freezer : it's to avoid bringing a nice serving of frozen lentil chestnut soup for lunch at work, only to find once thawed, that it is really just a large amount of caramelized shallots...
Never miss a recipe!

Dehillerin, what a wonderful place.
We were in France in 94 and two copper saucepans from Dehillerin were the only souvenirs we brought home to Australia, plus the extra suitcase to carry them.
Not sure they were any cheaper than here but those saucepans are special.
Posted by Helen on February 22, 2004 11:27 PME. Dehillerin is an absolute must-stop whenever we're in Paris. The copper pots are definitely cheaper for us there. The guys who work there always try and discourage us from shipping back copper pots (I have seven). But even with the shipping, the pots work out to be significantly cheaper then buying them here in the U.S. In addition to the copper stuff, I usually stock up on cookware one can't find here.
Clotilde - the wallpapers are a great idea. We have a bunch of photos of food we've done, of course, and I have them in my screen saver on my laptop. I'll occasionally come back to my desk to find someone just staring at my screen.
Posted by Derrick Schneider on February 23, 2004 3:46 AMi have the herme wallpaper on my "wall" now, nice photos.
Posted by Vivien on February 23, 2004 4:28 AMAmazing photos! I'm drooling. Well done!
p.s. thanks for weighing the oranges.
Posted by Charlotte on February 23, 2004 4:47 AMHelen and Derrick - Yes, Dehillerin is a fantastic store indeed. I pass by it every day on my bus ride home. Fortunately it's already closed at that time, otherwise I'd squander my whole salary there! :)
Vivien and Charlotte - So glad you like them! The Hermé macaron keeps me company too at the moment!
Posted by clotilde on February 23, 2004 11:14 PMGreat photos. But you left out my favorite -- that famous oeuf cocotte!
Posted by Frankenstein on February 24, 2004 3:57 AMPaul - Consider it done! Like we say : "Aussitôt dit, aussitôt fait!" :)
Posted by clotilde on February 24, 2004 8:26 AMLa fondation C&Z a enfin ouvert ses portes.
Merci!
Posted by Nassim on February 24, 2004 12:01 PMI just replaced my old wallpaper, of the Martian view seen by the Spirit rover when it first landed, with your truffle picture. A different sort of celestial object!
Rebecca - My truffles are certainly very honored to have such a prestigious predecessor! :)

Posted by free webcams on April 10, 2005 5:53 PMClotilde, I was just reading your review of the "best baguette in Paris" and it brought back memories of my university days, living in the Marais, when my then-boyfriend and I would eat a whole baguette with just some fabulous butter and maybe an Epoisse or a Reblochon, and a bottle of red wine. Inexpensive heaven! And the guy was perfectly sexy and mischevious, as only French boys can be. Thank you!
