March 2009 Desktop Calendar

At the beginning of every month in 2009, I will be offering C&Z readers a new desktop calendar, i.e. a wallpaper to apply on the desktop of your computer, with a food-related picture and a calendar of the current month.
Our desktop calendar for March is a picture of a chalkboard propped up in the window of a restaurant to advertise the lunch deal. (If you don't read food French, it says, "noon set menu: starter-main course or main course-dessert + coffee").
Instructions to get your calendar are below!
Here's how it works:
1- This link will open a new window (or tab) displaying the right wallpaper image for your screen.
2- Right-click (or ctrl-click for some Mac users) on the image, and chose the option that says, "Set as Desktop Background", "Use as Desktop Picture," or something to that effect -- the exact wording will depend on the browser you use.
3- If the image does not fit your desktop background neatly, you may have to go to your preference screen (on a Mac: System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop; on Windows: Control Panel > Display > Desktop) and choose "Fit to screen" as the display mode of your background image.
4- Enjoy, and see you in April for the next calendar!

That's great! Thank you! Any chance for an American version, with the week starting on Sunday instead of Monday? (Yes, we're weird over here...)
Harlan - Thank you for your suggestion. I am unable to provide localized variations at this point, which is why I opted for the international standard.
Yippee!!! It's beautiful.... love love love C&Z monthly desktop calendars.... thank you and happy March!!! :D--jillian
Thank you for this. I can't tell you how much I enjoy your site.
Thank you, Clotilde! Especially welcome this month, as we are coming to Paris at the end of it to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary (and which nice little resto was this that did a €13 formule de midi?)
This one is my favorite thus far! I love pictures of the parisian cafe scene. Thank you :)
Thank you! I love these calendars, I look forward to them as each new month approaches. They make my computer look so classy. :)
Hi Clotilde-

This is too cute! I've already made it my desktop background
As my daughter says sometimes: "I just HAVE to go to Paris." Thank you!
Thank you! I love this!
You make the 1st of every month something to look forward to! I love this new one, thanks so much!
Oh, thank you,
and the menu looks like a great deal!
Makes me want to order right now, if only the choices were easier: appetizer or dessert, I can't decide. ;-)
Love this! Thanks so much for sharing -- and for the inspiration that lasts all month long.
Thank you so much Clotilde! I've been loving your calendar series and love seeing your great pics on my desktop every day!
yay!! i've been looking forward to updating my background - looovvved february's background (i think it helped me remember to eat breakfast), but this helps me escape my desk!
This is the first C&Z desktop calendar I will use because I just don't think I would get any work done with your mouthwatering beautiful creations staring back at me. Thanks Clotilde!
Thanks so much. I live and Paris and I love your blog and the wonderful desktops. Your blog makes me get out and try new things!!! My neighbor made me eggs in gel, loved it!
Clotilde, this is a genius idea and a beautiful picture that makes me pine for France!
How lovely!!
I want to know where this bistro is? I am going to Paris in 12 days and would love a meal at this price!
Hello, I love the desktop photo and look forward to seeing what you have each month!
This is very cool. Makes me think of lunch everytime I see it!
