Now let's be fair. This time last year, I was in a new city with no friends or family and spent 10 weeks on crutches. If it wasn't for a grocery delivery service, I would have lived on pizza and other fast food delivery. Granted, here in Vancouver I was able to get organic produce, but the other food provided by the service was all "healthy" or organic processed food and pretty pricy. I would have loved to get some bologna.
And as an aside, processed meats are not significant sources of trans fats (saturates, but not trans). Trans fats come from the partial hydrogenation of unsaturated (vegetable ) oils. _________________ Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon. - The Dalai Lama |

Sometimes it is interesting/amusing to read some of the reviews people write. _________________ "It's watery....and yet there's a smack of ham."

Right you are! (On both counts.) But, cummon, you aren't going to call Amazon for balogna when you live in a city with so many wonderful little restaurants and public markets, now are you?
Hope you're up and strolling along the seawall at will these days! _________________ God writes a lot of comedy... the trouble is, he's stuck with so many bad actors who don't know how to play funny. -- Garrison Keillor |

Perhaps they're only selling it as a paperweight? No, that would make too much sense. |

Guffaw, now EVERYONE, make sure as Erin suggests that you read the reviews---they are hysterical (okay maybe I'm the only one who finds the review from the Louisiana pygmy delightful, but maybe not) _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

I find people in general very amusing, but especially when no one knows who they are. _________________ "It's watery....and yet there's a smack of ham."

The comments made it for me too. I sat here chuckling and thinking that there are more sick minded people in the world than I ever realised... isn't it great! _________________ If you cannot feel your arteries hardening, eat more cheese.
