Oh my goodness, I didn't even think about "old" movies.
here are a few favorites of those (limiting myself to five...)
Meet me in St. Louis
Auntie Mame
The Shop Around the Corner (and its twin, You've got mail)
North by Northwest
Sunday Dinner for a Soldier-- has anyone else every seen this? I have an old VHS of it from my grandma, but I've never seen it at a video store or anything. it's precious, if you ever come across it, and you might not ever feel the same way about chickens _________________ A good book is like an old friend. |

Judy--
Napoleon is priceless! I hated it upon my first viewing, but after seeing it again (and again and again) I found myself (like most people I knew who had seen it) constantly quoting napoleon and wanting to "Vote for Pedro"! _________________ A good book is like an old friend. |
