Anyone using dryer balls?
I recently picked some up and I'm loving them! They work on the same principle as putting a tennis ball in with a single towel or tennies. They're supposed to eliminate the need for fabric softener (I'm still using fabric softener anyway). I find that my laundry is definitely fluffier (towels come out more impressive than new) and my clothing is distinctly less wrinkled.
These things were once pricey ($18 for a couple of pet toys?) but now they're available in the $8-9 range for two. I really recommend them. I'm thinking of getting a second pair to keep my wash separated and agitated in my front-loading washing machine.
The downside is they make the drying process a little noisier but my laundry/pantry area has a door. I'm sold on them! _________________ God writes a lot of comedy... the trouble is, he's stuck with so many bad actors who don't know how to play funny. -- Garrison Keillor |
