Hi all,
I was screwing around on the BBC website and found this test. http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/leonardo/thinker_quiz/
It turns out I am an existential thinker. What are you?

I am a linguistic thinker. The BBC thinks that I should have been a proofreader instead of a lawyer. Forty seconds after I completed the questionnaire, I got an e-mail from the BBC offering me a job as a proofreader in their London office for a salary that would not cover the cost of my travel to the UK. The e-mail said "You might not be impressed with the compensation associated with this job, but as it is the only job for which you are suited, you should take it."

Well i turned out to be a linguistic thinker too! But no job offers, at least not yet----and I a member of the Commonwealth!

Well, I am a naturalist thinker.... interesting.

Wonder if my work fits into the framework of my thinking? It would be interesting to find a complete list of jobs for each type. Sometimes it is a good giggle to read the jobs that someone is "supposed" to be doing. Kind of like you CB, a lawyer and proofreader are not exactly similar are they??? Laughing

I came out a renaissance thinker - actually that isn't too far off the beam, and recommended careers include politician - Wink

I am extremely interested in politics, but I prefer to pull the strings on the puppets, rather than being the puppet who is usually so easily manipulated .... it was a fun test! And it wasn't that far off the mark Laughing

I got linguistic and interpersonal - did anyone else get two things? I guess it does make sense - my educational background is psychology but I do quite a bit of research and writing at my current job.

Well, I like this kind of stuff, though I know it's BS (I could answer differently to many question), But still, I was amused. I'm an interpersonal thinker, and on the right corner of the page it was written something about the Renaissance type, associated with the interpersonal. Do you think that with these obvious qualities I could maybe try to decipher the Da Vinci Code , write a book and be a millionnaire?

No more war, more BBC tests who tell me I'm in the same category with Winston Churchill and Shakespeare!!!

We know that there are some people who are just not thinkers. Is the BBC test honest enough to tell these people, sorry, terribly sorry actually, but your responses indicate that you're not a thinker. Others who are in this category include the leader of your country, and an enormous number of athletes/actors/television newscasters (though none for the BBC, thank you). Nobody who posts on C&Z could ever be accused of not thinking, so we won't know how honest the BBC test is. So I'm going to send the link to my law partners. [image of a cat smiling]

I also came out linguistic and interpersonal - which is interesting, since neither of them list teacher as a career choice! I DO speak three languages, so I get that one! This was fun and I sent it to my colleagues - so we'll see!

I got interpersonal. It listed teacher as one of the career choices on my results.

I came up with Spatial and Interpersonal up there with the likes of Mother Theresa, Winston, Churchill, Michaelangelo and others - WOW!
Like Simona, up on the right has a blurb on Renaissance associated with spatial and interpersonal thinkers. I should be more ambitious and do something very stressful but I really like enjoying my simple life.

My test told me I should be a Philosopher, Religious leader, Head of state, Artist, Writer. Nothing could be more distasteful to me than the first three. Artist and writer, now those I can get behind.

How funny. I'm an interpersonal, naturalistic and existential thinker. That means I like people, plants and philosophy. Not bad, not bad at all.
