Actually, that's very much in character for him AND I've always heard that Beirut was a very modern, cosmopolitan city so perhaps there are comparisons to our pluses and our minuses.

| Good golly! Id read Bourdain was going to include Beirut on another culinary world tour but didnt know when. Have to say I have a much better impression of him after reading the offthebroiler and Salon articles than the one in the NY Post. Guys almost a diplomat. Well, almost but hes got so much respect and compassion, even humility. Whoda thunk it? |
