I myself can't wait! I'd love to own a bike, but have nowhere to keep it, so this will be ideal. I've tried the same system in Lyon and it works really well. I just hope Parisians will be more respectful of this shared property than they are of other things...  |

bikes sound great & I'm sure my daughter will partake......do u bring ur own helmet or aren't there laws in france re wearing them? _________________ Make me half the person my dog thinks I am. |

La Rochelle has the same system. I think it is great and can't wait myself.
As for helmets... you would have to bring your own as they are compulsory here too. Some people do ride without them, but we have actually seen people get pulled over by the police (obviously a slow crime day) when they haven't had them on. Also if you ride at night you must have a bike light as well. _________________ If you cannot feel your arteries hardening, eat more cheese. If you can, drink more red wine. Diet is just "die" with a "t" on the end. Exercise is walking into the kitchen. |
