now nima suggested a collaboration between Griffin and myself...I post the image and Griffin adds the written language...although G, I don't mind if every so often you post image and I see what comes up...
so this for starters...I'll tell you later how I came across it...
so, over to you word soul

Having seen the purity and delicate quality of the golden and ladylike pear upon the plate, the fork was driven to distraction until fearing his rival the knife might steal a march on him, he instantly declared his love for the pear and embraced her.
The pear, the elegant stem of her hat curling over like the tail of a languid cat paid no attention. She felt warm, but attributed this warmth to the room temperature and not the rising tide of passion that welled up in her. She felt that the pool of sweet liquid about her base must be because she was melting... melting with a love she could not bear to express. Decorum would have been outraged... and, she felt a tenderness towards the fork; a sense that if she moved or spoke the moment of this warm embrace might end. _________________ Confusion comes fitted as standard. |

That was great! Griffin, I can't wait for your novel, now that I get a sense of your literary prose.
So yes indeed. Encore!! Can we get another one?
And Madame, where is this photo from? It looks kind of familiar but I can't put my finger on it. |

I am glad you all enjoyed it... tho' with a fabulous image like that one, it wasn't too difficult to come up with something. I love the way the fork is embracing the pear and that lovely warm golden colour too... sigh! I didn't want to write something too long so I made it - like the image - short and sweet!
Nima,
My novel isn't quite like that, it's more a sword and politics type of fantasy, tho' there is a lot of attention paid to the characters clothes and even the cups and saucers and the like!!
Madame,
If you are going to come up with images like that - we are going to create a novel between us in no time at all!! It's almost like writing the postcard stories I've done. _________________ Confusion comes fitted as standard. |

by golly sweetnesses all...am back from a 2hour drive from my beloved papa's...getting ready to join hundreds and hundreds of folk..we are to sit on the steps of the Sydney Opera House tonight..and watch an openair screening of Carmen...which will be being performed inside..it's a wondrous night...have done it before....Soph managed to get tickets..free..they are snapped up so quickly...
Sieg's shopping for some food goodies..I at least have to have a shower...very hot..
ok..the photo...quickly type...quickly..as we have to pick up Soph and an ex-neighbour on the way...
Sydney traffic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the photo was used as the symbol of one of the Sydney Food Months...run by The Sydney Morning Herald...
it was used on postcards, posters, flags...you name it...once they used a strawberry with horns like the devil...will see if I can finda site with them all..
ok mr g...bravo you!
will gaze deeply at my surroundings this weekend at Katoomba..music festival...and at the same time...will take the camera tonight..see what speaks to me...which in turn might speak to you...
you lot are simply gorgeous....
cyberspace hugs to all... _________________ "I've never accepted the external appearance of things as the whole truth. The world is much more elaborate than the nerves of our eye can tell us." - James Gleeson |

Madame - what is all this about some woman in Penrith wanting to turn Penrith French. Saw something on breakfast TV. Looked for you in the crowd. Enjoy Carmen. How fabulous. _________________ Barbara |
