Is it just me, or does Nicolas Sarkozy look like this man--

An American comedian named Mort Sahl, his humor was/is political and I had a huge crush on him in the 1960s. |

gingerpale..yep..I get it..
Sophie and I enjoy that game, as it were..that 'doesn't so and so look like so and so'..
we seem to have that speed of light thing going..
the instant ah! moment...
a few weeks back I saw Danny O'Keefe, Christina Olsen, and Peter Grayling perform...
as soon as Peter G appeared on the stage, sat down with his cello...I thought this is going to be really weird...it was as though Kevin Spacey was playing...
here's a photo from yonks back it seems..he looks far moreeeeeeeeeee like Mr S now..

the strangest one has been this one (I didn't take this photo...from the magical web)

'twas like seeing King Charles 1, Robert Redford, and Hugo Weaving jamming together
then there's the game of 'who would be the you character in a film of your life now'....I grabs Judi Dench
would be more than interested in your pick for youself.. _________________ "I've never accepted the external appearance of things as the whole truth. The world is much more elaborate than the nerves of our eye can tell us." - James Gleeson |

Ha Madame if you can have Judi Dench I get Madonna! Actually, this actress--especially her role in "Vertigo"--I've always sort of 'identified with', as they say..

It's not Kim Novak! the other one! |

Gingerpale - isn't that the mother from Dallas?
I would like to say Helen Mirren for me bad sadly I'm nowhere near as elegant. I'm more Judi Dench but Madame has taken her. Perhaps Jamie Lee Curtis f I was a bit slimmer. _________________ Barbara |

anyone playing the lead role in the Barbara film will need an element of pixieness...pixieosity..pixieiousness...anyway, you get my drift _________________ "I've never accepted the external appearance of things as the whole truth. Yes, Barbara, it's Barbara Bel Geddes http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000895/bio
Jamie Lee Curtis I think is both elegant AND pixilated and would do nicely! |

I remember... oh such a long time ago now it seems... with Madame and Sieg playing this in a flat with the tallest, sweetest Piscean music-maker... and I still stick with Woody Allen playing me... in his younger days!
If I get really lucky then Will Smith... even tho' he doesn't look anything like me... or possibly Cate Blanchett... well if she can manage Dylan...!! _________________ Confusion comes fitted as standard. |

Sadly, were he still alive, Marty Feldman would probably be cast to play me!! _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

When she was younger...and I was younger...though we were not "younger" at the same time ...I used to get Olivia de Havilland...though I always thought she was prettier and more delicate than I...the resemblance was always noted by people older than I because most of my generation didn't even know who OdeH was...
...but if we could choose...ahhhh...audrey hepburn, of course (but, of course, nobody ever thought I looked like her!) |

Okay, you get Audrey Hepburn, anybody want Katherine Hepburn?
Judy makes me think of Ellen Degeneres--funny and down to earth.
Rainey=Marisa Tomei, wordy but wise, takes no bull.
Debbie is a mystery! Glam or girl-next-door? |

Clearly Debbie is Marilyn Monroe... or Glenn Close?
David I am sure is more like Gene Wilder... and what with me as Woody Allen we'd make a helluva pair!!
Gingerpale, if I was a woman I'd love to be played by Katharine Hepburn as she was in 'Adam's Rib'. As it is, I can only wish I were more Cary Grant or Spencer Tracy... sigh, more like Dick Tracy! _________________ Confusion comes fitted as standard. |
