I'll only weigh in on this one by noting how lovely a word "buxom" is! _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

Lovely when you don't conform to the meaning of the word perhaps...... Bodacious is also a good one.
Anyway, off to make a chocolate cake and also some rosemary jelly - sans tablier! I have the brother in law bringing over his new (possible) fiance for the weekend. If she doesn't eat then she can't join the family... So far it appears she has no food dislikes etc, so we shall see what happens.
Will ask if she cooks and if she wears an apron _________________ If you cannot feel your arteries hardening, eat more cheese. If you can, drink more red wine. Diet is just "die" with a "t" on the end. Exercise is walking into the kitchen. |

Wow! And before I'd said anything too!!
Perhaps wear a polo neck for eating with, then the precious balcon will be safe from crumbs in the scaffolding - as it were!! I love buxom too, but then I am a bloke and I'm assured it's typical... even tho' the eyes have it with me every time... sigh!
Yes Debs, we are indeed cyber-sibs and second family siblings too. Tho' I am not buxom... more scrawny than buxom and apparently because I'm a bloke it's typical that I'm not buxom... who knew?!
I love bodacious too, reminds me of Bill and Ted... dude! I love enchanting too... just for the idea... _________________ Confusion comes fitted as standard. |

And of course the two prime culprits have commented......
Whew, was getting a bit worried that you were ill Griffin.
Maybe I have your "extra" inches?
I do like the reference to scaffolding though.... sometimes it appears to be more like that than anything else...
BTW, made all listed items without a drop on the clothing and with no apron. Let's just call it a talent shall we everyone needs one of those. _________________ If you cannot feel your arteries hardening, eat more cheese. If you can, drink more red wine. Debbie, I remember about twenty years ago, my mother made this glorious cake with beautiful chocolate decorations she lovingly handcrafted. She was serving it with drinks to a group of friends as an apres-symphony treat. I remember going into the kitchen, so enthralled by this cake and wanting a last glimpse before she cut it to bits. As she removed it from the highest shelf (clad in a beautiful dress with a plunging neckline), of the refrigerator, the cake slid off it's stand and on to the "shelf". A joker friend walked up to my stunned mother, removed a chocolate decoration and said "good cake". _________________ "It's watery....and yet there's a smack of ham."

| I have several aprons - one that I really like in particular - I just don't wear them. My wife and I even put hooks on the wall just outside the kitchen (it's an open kitchen so outside is sort of relative) for the aprons. I have gotten much neater though - reading Bourdain and Ruhlman have sort of pounded in the "work clean" idea into my head. |

I have designed a special range of aprons and have just started a website. Can I post it here without spamming?
