Our wedding day will be january 31st....
Slowly things are finding their place, we ordered paper for our invitations and made thet text this morning, I have (ordered, it's not there yet!)a dress, we have a location, it will be a very festive, informal day with all our friends and family around us when we say 'I do', late in the afternoon, followed bij champagne and weddingcake (mental note: call the bakery), an informal 'walking dinner'(they will serve 5 small courses on small plates while we are all over the place, so no sit-down-dinner) and a bit of a party thereafter with some jazzy music and perhaps a little dancing. All in the same location - a beautiful restaurant 30 mins from our house.
Remember that european weddings are quite different from American ones!! No formal bridesmaids in the same dresses and so on... |

You are going to look just fabulous girlfriend!! And the European wedding sounds a damned sight more sensible than some of the extravaganzas expected over here!! (I'm hearing a friend of mine thinking, as her daughter's marriage dissolved--"What! We spend 80,000 on her wedding and they didn't even make it to year 8!!) _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

Wow! What a great way to start 2009! You're going to be married and at the epicenter of the greatest dim sum in the world! Not too shabby! Congratulations! _________________ "Help! Help! I'm being repressed!" --- Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Swan, it sounds wonderful! Congratulations again to you both.
No bridesmaids! You lucky lady. I knew a woman who had 12 attendants on each side, all they did was squabble and make her life difficult. I had a far more modest number. . . though they did still manage to squabble. _________________ "It's watery....and yet there's a smack of ham."

I am no faerie Godfather (a whole new movie that would be!), but...
May Love walk with you always to the ends of your days and the beginnings of your mornings.
May sorrows and cross words never trouble you in the slowly noticed differences.
May all the good things you wish for yourselves come to you and without any attendant troubles.
May flowers spring up where you both walk and may your love always be in its Springtime.
By Earth and Air and Sea, let these blessings come to thee. _________________ Confusion comes fitted as standard. |
