Madame it was the highlight of our time in Sydney. So lovely to spend time with you..... and the phone call from David - what a treat....and meeting your Papa - a double treat.
You all should know Madame has the most delightful home full of delightful treasures. _________________ Barbara |

having a Papa in your home is a delight on its own. Guests are. Guests bringing a Mama are! Receiving phonecalls from dear people overseas, having beautiful cakes but mostly you all together...sounds wonderful!
our travelling plans are moving up in time, business is dictating...but Deb, I am seriusly considering flying down to Sydney if and when you are in the neighbourhood and who knows who else will join! Oh, and perhaps, perhaps....We might have to go to Holland soon, and if and when, I possibly fly home alone, later then Jaap. Came up with a plan...plan my returnflight through Paris, fly to Paris in the morning, spend my day foodshopping, lunch with you perhaps?! and jump on the late flight to HK .
Love this 'people meeting eachother' and finding out we get along so well, no surprise, ofcourse.... David -any plans in the australasian region??? |

Oh swan would be a delightful adventure, but sadly, currently my wings are financially clipped. (I am however heading back to Boston first weekend of Sept and hope to see cigalechanta and sweetbabyjames again!) Oh and I just got a surpise delivery of long stem roses so I might not want to stray too far these days. _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

Well Debbie, just how much do you want to know? I'll go with tall, dark, handsome, has diplomas in performing arts and comedy, reads widely and thoughtfully, cooks up a storm. Collects cookbooks and assault rifles. Swiss/Philipino. I've known him as a customer for 14 years but just this last January he indicated he wanted to get to know me better. Is in the army, has been to Afghanistan and will probably go back for another tour in Feb or March. and he sent me roses! _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

Sounds like a real catch!
Big question..... Do the furbabies like him????? I am imagining they must or you wouldn't still be seeing him. Just seeking confirmation. _________________ If you cannot feel your arteries hardening, eat more cheese. If you can, drink more red wine. Diet is just "die" with a "t" on the end. | David, are you sure this is just one fellow? It sounds like you've wandered into a group, a collection of charmers! |

If he collects cookbooks, he's definitely a keeper, David. I'm very pleased to read your lovely news. _________________ Doing what you like is freedom

My thanks to yo all for your kind wishes. yeah, he's pretty special, definitely an original. not without it's problems but so far so good.
but really I'm here now to say what a wonderful evening I had the other night in Boston with sweetbabyjames who, besides being tall and beautiful, has a charming manner and a great sense of humour. Indeed the sweet lass took me to the restaurant attached to the Cordon Bleu Culinary School, even requesting a table situated such that I could view the kitchens!
Love this town! _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

Oh Griffin, you know I'm really a pretty standard issue height myself (5' 7") but here in Boston I seem to have landed in the Land of Giants! I think, besides my niece, I'm the shortest guest in the hotel!! My nephew is almost a foot taller than I. But really, one can never ever complain about being surrounded by tall and beautiful people can one? _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

David, I'd describe you as anything but "standard issue"! Thanks for a delightfully entertaining evening. Keep that twinkle in your eye! |
