| What would one serve this chutney with? I bought a jar and now I have no idea what to do with it. |

any kind of roasted meat (chix, pork, duck)...or on toasts with goat cheese, or with any spicy food (Indian, etc) to cut spiciness a bit..... _________________ Make me half the person my dog thinks I am. |

Soft white cheeses, edam, mild cheddar and the like... I adore fig jam with cheeses, think the fig and date might go equally well! _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

Welcome to the c&z forums, Stille!
Your chutney should work nicely in sandwiches, too, paired with the ingredients David and Melinda suggested.
I'm thinking it would also be a good condiment to serve with a lamb stew and a side of couscous.
Also, you could thin it with a little oil and vinegar to turn it into a dressing. |
