Dear all,
As some of you may already know I am working on a C&Z cookbook, for which I am developping all new recipes. To make sure those recipes are clearly laid out and to account for the differences between cooks, ovens, ingredients etc., I would like to get together a small team of recipe testers who would volunteer to try out a few recipes and share their notes and comments.
You could be testing as few or as many as your schedule allows, but I am of course looking for committed testers I could rely upon. And since the book will be for the North-American market at first, I am primarily looking for readers from the US and Canada.
Is this something you would be interested in? If so, please send me an email and we can discuss the details...
Thank you so much!
Clotilde.

I would love to help you. My living in Paris and using french ingredients may not be the answer to your needs though. Let me know |

Clothilde, count me in! In the next month, I am moving to our brand new house, but we can talk about details timelines in an email. One caution, I can't test anything with shrimp. Very, very allergic, can't even be in a room with it! Looking forward to it! _________________ "Nobody can teach you how to make the perfect cup of tea. It just happens over time. Clothilde! what a marvellous opportunity! I would love to give the occasional recipe a whirl---especially since I am very much an average cook. Will be available from Nov 1 on (have a very full schedule of holidays and book launches until then). _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

I'm a newly joined member from Dallas, TX. I've been reading your blog for several months now, but have never posted until today. I would love to help you test the recipes! The few I've tried from your website have been really spectacular! Congrats on the cook book

Just stumbled on your site to day by checking out the award winners of the 2004 food blog award. (It sometimes happens to me at work that I get so hungry, and the best remedy next to eating seems to be reading descriptions of good food
I don't live in the US anymore, but if ever you need some recipe testers in Switzerland, let me know. (In any case, even if my feedback might not be all that valuable, I'd be more than happy to get the recipes and try them out.)

Looks as if you already have volunteers but it sounds like an exciting project and I'm game if you still need folks. _________________ God writes a lot of comedy... the trouble is, he's stuck with so many bad actors who don't know how to play funny. -- Garrison Keillor |

Hello! This is my first time posting, though I've been enjoying your blog for a couple of months. I would love to test some recipes if you still need testers in North America.

My wife and I would love to volunteer. She had a professional catering business for years, and tested recipes constantly. She's still at it, in the sense of finding recipes from different sources and places, trying them, and then changing them to make them more easy to follow or to improve the result. I'm a perfect companion in this process, because I need simple and very clear recipes or else the result will be a disaster for sure. _________________ The goal is to fit it all in. |

I would be happy to help. I have no formal cooking experience, just a love for the flavors in my life. So if you need someone more professional, it is not I. But I would be a good audience to test practicality for the average kitchen. I not a very seasoned baker, so can tell you if anything can go wrong, it will in my oven!
I also have 2 petit enfants, so I can tell you how things are recieved by the palate of a 4 year old. |
