Never been a fan of the stuff myself but you do have to admire this kind of ambition.

Strange......although compelling..if she want's to do another jello installation, perhaps the New Orleans Levee System might be a suitable, subject. _________________ I would like a gin martini, straight up, olives on the side, as dry as my wit, as clean as my conscience.

I have found jello repulsive since I was about three, it is really cool to see it put to good use. _________________ "It's watery....and yet there's a smack of ham."

Yes! That must have been some undertaking to create the molds, prepare sooo many pieces and assemble them. Then there's the photography! Nicely done! ...and thank god for the pics 'cause I can't imagine it would last very long. _________________ God writes a lot of comedy... the trouble is, he's stuck with so many bad actors who don't know how to play funny. -- Garrison Keillor |

HOW did the Bay Bridge not melt with the heat from the lights?
stunning work..in a way I guess! sometimes there's something that draws you to such work...
as I was browsing the pics, I thought of the Harbin Snow and Ice Festival ~ a friend's daughter lived there for a year...studying in a high school...quite an amazing experience for all

Jello..are there words? Well I guess since The Aeroplane Jelly song is almost up there with ...well I suppose up there with any song an Australian would hold dear!...who am I to belittle Jello or Jelly...
I'm still left wondering HOW that bridge didn't melt...maybe it lived only a short time...such is art _________________ "I've never accepted the external appearance of things as the whole truth. The world is much more elaborate than the nerves of our eye can tell us." - James Gleeson |

Wow! That was spectacular!
Imagine the passion to create beautiful things like that that have no hope of enduring outside of photography and memory. Not unlike the art aspect of food, I guess. I'm in awe of the passion and drive.
As for the lights on the jello bridge, I'm guessing the whole thing was quite small (individual pieces not the whole assemblage). They probably used those tiny "grain of rice" bulbs. I don't believe they emit much heat at all. _________________ God writes a lot of comedy... the trouble is, he's stuck with so many bad actors who don't know how to play funny. -- Garrison Keillor |

David, I just happened to have the Berlin Philharmonic nearby...so here goes...(I'm wearing a suitable wattle-themed frock, gum leaves in the hair, and bare feet) a one, a two, a one two three:
I like Aeroplane Jelly, Aeroplane Jelly for me. I like it for dinner, I like it for tea, a little each way is a good recipe. The quality's high as the name will imply and it's made from pure fruit, one more good reason why, I like Aeroplane Jelly, Aeroplane Jelly for me."
oh, all those flowers ...why thank you so much....my oh my....that's a hell of a lot of roses...and more...golly...to think you enjoyed the song that much...
