for my second trip to Paris (depart in three weeks plus one day) is to find the perfect manhattan in Paris. What are your suggestions for bars in Paris (I'll be staying in the 5th) where a 50 year old woman alone can get a nice cocktail. Je parle un peu francais. Any other suggestions for dining or not to miss attractions are welcome.
PS - I'm traveling to Paris with a half empty suitcase in hopes of all the goodies I will bring home so if anyone needs something from Boston, please let me know and I will try to accomodate. |

| For the best manhattan, I'd recommend the Plaza Athenee bar (Ave. Montaigne in the 7th). It's possible you may be distracted from your quest however, by the great value in vintage champagne by the glass... |
