I'm very curious to know why the US cover is a pic of Clotilde choosing fresh fruit outdoors, and the UK cover shows us 2 finished dishes. Is there some deep psychological/marketing secret behind this?
I truly can't say which would catch me eye, if I were seeing both on a shelf for the the 1st time.

Gingerpale - Interesting point! But actually, the UK cover has been redesigned and the new version (the pink one) shows a picture of a chocolate caramel tart, and one of a hollyhock. Different publishers, different markets, different bookstore buyers to please = different covers!
Bbenbzh - Yes, the main difference between the US and the UK versions is that the latter has metric measurements (and British spelling). The layouts are different, but the recipes and pictures are the same.
