I will be in Paris with my two year old daughter from March 11th-18th. She is a budding hedonist and loves beautiful things to smell and taste. Can anyone recommend farmer's markets, flower markets, child-friendly restaurants, favorite lovely places to play? Suggestions re: rainy day activities are particularly welcome (just in case!). Many thanks!

Miranda - this book, available at this site below, has a chapter on activities for children in Paris. I like the sound of Cap Vernet /Gastronomic Imitation where they have little bottles of smells for the children to sniff.
