I think Donna summed up my reaction quite well.
I'm not sure what disgusts me most: the contamination of good chocolate with gold or the fact that the dessert costs more than my car did. |

Every once in a while someone feels compelled to throw some gold on perfectly good food for the sake of cheap publicity. Remember the $1,000 milkshake a few months ago? Maybe if we ignore them they'll go away and leave us to enjoy food in peace...  |

So much I'd like to say about this but why give them any more publicity for something so stupid. But if it makes just one more person think about poverty and the starving then it works in a round about way.
