In the Christmas thread I mentioned that our house was meant for Christmas---so here it is---now imagine it all dressed up with coloured lights and stuff!

Man oh man that's the way to house oneself! And that tantalizing look at the inside (doggie at fireplace) looks SO real--rustic--
rooted. What a great house David! Thanks for posting this.

My favorite parts are the sunroom with snow mounting to the eaves and that poor sinking birdbath.
It's really beautiful David. Thanks for sharing! |

What a fabulous fabulous place!!!!!!!! Most envious of the beauty you look out on each day. Can only imagine how beautiful it is to watch the seasons change from your windows.
I agree that you must post more photos in spring and summer.
Love the furbabies frolicking in teh snow... though I am sure you don't like the muddy, snowy, wet dog pawprints everywhere inside afterwards
So when are you, Griffin and I having a reunion of the long lost twins that are triplets???? I dibs a room with a view of the lane! _________________ If you cannot feel your arteries hardening, eat more cheese. If you can, drink more red wine. Diet is just "die" with a "t" on the end. Gorgeous house... what you can see that isn't under snow!! Love Whisper warming up!! Well especially after being in the snow, paws can get very cold!
At least this way the birds can reach the bath easily... if they actually want a bath!! Tho' perhaps they just chip ice for their gin and tonics!
Love the icicles on the er, sun room! Sun room in summer, Snow room in winter.
No wonder you hate shovelling snow David... with that much, I'd just let it sit... while I grumbled at the fireplace!! Gromble, gromble, flippin' snow... gromble, gromble... why can't it snow where I don't want to shovel, dagnabbit?!! _________________ Confusion comes fitted as standard. |

David, it's so beautiful and looks so tranquil. What a refuge at the end of the day. I imagine there are some echoes there now of other times. i hope they are joyful ones!

I know it's crazy - I've lived in Northern California for a LOOOOOOOOONG time. But I still miss the seasons! Every September - even though I know it's the hottest month of our year usually - I get the oatmeal and the sweaters out! We generally get our first nip of Fall in Late October or November. The leaves are still changing in December! I guess I just like variety in weather! _________________ L'appetit vient en mangeant. -Rabelais |

Ha ha, well there certainly is plenty of room! Have 3 extra bedrooms available and there are 2 living rooms so if we get in each other's hair there is always some place to retreat---and yes, very good point Donna--you all cook!!!
Griff---this time of year the birds are begging for a hot toddy, something rummy and firey, those seeking a gin and tonic left in the late autumn for points south! _________________ Vivant Linguae Mortuae!! |

| Line me up with the Cookers, David. And for you, I'll take off my shoes and bring a suitcase full of hand crocheted booties for all of us! |
