Some friends are traveling to Madascar via CDG this August. They have one afternoon and night for Paris in each direction. I suggested they take the Car Air France in to Etoile and use that as a jumping off point for on-foot exploration.

They are looking for a moderate hotel or B&B close to where the bus comes in. They would also look for a moderate restaurant, not anything luxe or that would take hours for a meal while they are jet lagged.

Any suggestions?
