Should anyone end up travelling to Calgary, Alberta somehow get yourselves to The Chef's Table at the Kensington River Inn. It landed the 4th best new restaurant in Canada spot last year and all I can say is I left with a huge smile on my face as did my companions! Braised Berkshire Pork Belly paired with seared fresh sea scallops over a bed of crushed sweet baby peas layered on a fennel coulis!! Even the micro greens salad for starters was extraordinary with its tangy vinaigrette and explosive home made vegetable pickles!

Expensive (thank heavens I have dear friends with deep pockets) but WOW!!!
