| I wondered, as I wiped brow with wrist yesterday, hair all a lost cause from humidity, dirty dishes grinning from every unseen surface of teeny kitchen, I wondered whether anyone else was making chicken stock on the "hottest day" so far in Paris' 2009? Or otherwise adversarily cooking up a storm despite the freakish heatwave? |

hbw, welcome on board!
I'd like to see the scene in a film...
I notice Paris will have a top of 31 degrees today...
You have been awarded The Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin Medal for services in the kitchen above and beyond the call of duty....
Don't forget the water...drink loads of it!
