This is about the niftiest thing I've ever seen done on the web.
Just touch the poster with your mouse. These computer jockeys are wizards.

Very psychedelic.
My 13 year old son has a screen-saver that does the same thing to his desktop _________________ Doing what you like is freedom

What impressed me was that I think the poster uses an analytical expression for surface waves based on real physics.
Notice that the "boundary conditions" are periodic in that if you touch one edge, the same response occurs at the other edge. So it is not the same as a closed pool, for example.
This has been done with things like bouncing balls where they use the elasticity equations, Newton's law of gravitation and F=ma, et cetera. _________________ ' She says, 'I am the glamorous type.' I said, 'So what?' |

What would be very interesting for a food page would be something like a poster of a bowl of tomato soup with the same physics.
The mouse turns into a spoon as you move it across the surface of the soup bowl. Watch the tomato soup. _________________ ' She says, 'I am the glamorous type.' I said, 'So what?' |
