Since I had no suggestions of where to eat in Tours...we asked the man at the hotel desk & he suggested La Brasserie le Bure on the Place de la Resistance...an old fashioned brasserie with lots of wood & mirrors...we sat upstairs & could look down....I had choucrute de la Mer in sauce nantais....3 kinds of fish, moules & langoustines, my husband had coronets of ham wrapped around a delicious macedoine of vegetables in tasty mayo, steak frites & choc. mousse...and a great Vouvray....I had frozen grand marnier souffle...and the bill was a reasonable 59E including the wine |
