| i was wondering if any of you ethnic food loving C&Z'ers know of a place where i could find a recipe for chinese style sesame chicken. yes, i know, americanized takeout isn't usually very traditional, but its so good (depending on the resto). have to say, my favorite part is probably the super crunchy broccoli in that spicy/sweet sauce! thanks. |

http://www.boblevine.com/sesame-chicken.html ?
... I would skip asperagus and peppers for broccoli and take toasted sesame seeds instead of blanched almonds ... |

Glad to be of help
Since there are a lot of sesame chicken recipes and I don't know the original, I wasn't sure if this points into the desired flavor direction, but I would describe the resulting dish of the given recipe link as spicy/sweet. |
