There is also a wooden escalator at the arts et metiers station in the connection between line 11 and line 3.

We used to have a few in the Boston T too, they were almost as dangerous as the new ones! Thank you for creating such lovely (and appetizing) blogs.

that photo reminds me of old shops in Sydney..long long gone..however those wooden escalators! how rickety I remember them..and as a child I thought the spaces were very wide..between wood as it were...love browsing these photos..it's rather like seeing through Clotilde's eyes..what fun
